1. About us
These Terms of Service govern your use of the website and services provided by Axious Spaces Design and Build (Pty) Ltd ("Axious Spaces", "we", "us"), a company registered in South Africa (registration number K2025647631). By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
Axious Spaces provides flooring and concrete services including epoxy floors, polished concrete, microcement, decorative screeds, resin countertops, and related concrete work. We operate exclusively in Cape Town and the Western Cape, South Africa.
All services are subject to a site assessment. We reserve the right to decline a project that falls outside our scope of work.
3. Quotes and bookings
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. After 30 days, pricing may be subject to revision.
- Bookings are confirmed in writing — by email or WhatsApp message from an Axious Spaces representative. A verbal or online enquiry alone does not constitute a confirmed booking.
- A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking date. Work will not commence until the deposit payment has cleared.
- The remaining balance is due on completion of the work, before the team leaves the site.
4. Payment
- Invoices are due within 7 days of issue unless a different term is agreed in writing.
- Late payments attract interest at 2% per month on the outstanding amount.
- We accept EFT bank transfer. Payment details will be provided on your invoice. We do not accept cash on large jobs.
5. Cancellations and rescheduling
- Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled visit or start date.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled visit will result in the deposit being forfeited to cover preparation costs.
- Axious Spaces reserves the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, material delays, etc.). We will give you as much notice as possible in such cases.
6. Client responsibilities
- The client is responsible for clearing the work area of furniture, rugs, and other belongings before the team arrives.
- Adequate access to electricity and water must be available at the site.
- The client must disclose any known structural issues, damp, cracks, or previous coatings on the surface before work begins.
7. Liability
Axious Spaces takes every care to deliver quality workmanship. However:
- We are not liable for defects or failures caused by pre-existing structural problems (e.g. rising damp, settlement cracks, unstable substrates) that were not disclosed before work commenced.
- Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of project completion. We will assess and remedy genuine workmanship defects at no additional charge.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and project photography — is owned by Axious Spaces or used with permission. You may not reproduce or use it without our written consent.
We may photograph completed projects for our portfolio and marketing materials. If you do not consent to your project being photographed, please notify us in writing before work begins.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Town, Western Cape.

10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when changes were last made. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
